Long gone are the days of ugly, uncomfortable synthetic grass.  Now, synthetic grass is being installed all over the place – in back yards, in parks, and on golf courses.  There are 4 great reasons to give up real grass and opt for artificial turf.

When it comes to synthetic grass, there are tons of varieties to choose from.  You can go with a basic fake lawn – that looks just like real grass, and fits even the smallest of budgets.  Or, you can go with some upgrades – like infill.  Infill is made out of tiny pieces of either rubber or sand, and it is designed to mimic real dirt.  Infill can make your synthetic grass feel more like real grass, with every step you take.  If you spend a lot of time playing in your yard with the kids, infill can be a great way to cushion their every movement.

3. Synthetic grass is safer.

Even if you do not opt for infill, an artificial turf lawn is much safer than the real thing, because it is completely flat.  Real grass comes with slight peaks and valleys.  It may look flat, but, in reality, it can be a very uneven surface.  Running on real grass can be dangerous; if you trip over even the slightest of bumps, you can fall and hurt yourself.
